A Bit of Background
Fundy Weir Fishermen's Association represents the herring weir and shut-off fishermen based in southwestern New Brunswick.
When incorporated on March 5, 1973, the Fundy Weir Fishermen's Associations objectives were to provide a forum where persons interested in weir fishing could associate, to make rules for the regulation of any branch of weir fishing, and to generally improve the weir fishing community.
